BW Build completed a first-floor extension, garage conversion, and internal renovation on a modern-style property in Thame, Oxfordshire. The project was designed to maximise the use of the existing footprint while delivering additional high-quality living space and modernising the home throughout.

The first-floor extension was constructed above the original garage, creating a brand-new bedroom complete with bespoke built-in wardrobes and a contemporary en-suite bathroom. This addition significantly enhanced the property’s functionality and added valuable private living space without altering the ground-floor layout.

On the ground floor, the existing garage was partly converted into a warm, fully insulated habitable rooms. The conversion enabled a kitchen extension, utility room and office space which included updated underfloor heating, electrics, flooring, and plastering to ensure the new space blended seamlessly with the rest of the home.

As part of the overall renovation works, we also installed a new modern, handless kitchen. This stylish upgrade included sleek cabinetry, premium worktops, new appliances and improved lighting, resulting in a clean, contemporary aesthetic and a more functional layout.

Throughout the project, BW Build carried out all structural works, carpentry, plumbing, electrical upgrades, plastering, and high-quality finishing. Materials and detailing were carefully selected to ensure the new areas matched the property’s modern character, both internally and externally.
